NARRATIVE.
TELEPHONE:
We plan to use a telephone as a key feature in our video. The two days we are planing to convey are both going to contain the telephone as a key aspect of the narrative. We want to present both days as similar but with the odd difference and the phone is going to be at the heart of one of these differences. On the first day we are planing for the main protagonist to ignore the ringing phone but on the second day he is going to answer it.
WHISKEY BOTTLE:
The whisky bottle is going to be shown at the start of the video in quite a subtle way but sometimes the subtle elements to a scene can have a massive impact on the way a character is presented and perceived by the audience. The way we want to present the bottle is in a way that makes the audience feel like maybe the main character has some problems that he is trying to overcome though the use of alcohol.
LAPTOP BAG:
A laptop bag is something that is not going to play a huge part in the development of the story but it will help build a look for our main character as a teacher. All elements of a scene are important even if they don't get interacted with much and/or focused on because we want an all round look that looks as natural as possible.
WHITEBOARD:
A whiteboard will feature in our music video as something for our main character to interact with to enhance our mise en scene but other than that it will have no bearing on the development of our narrative.
IMAC:
The iMac is very similar to the whiteboard in that it won't play any part in the telling of our story but it will enhance the mes en scene massively. It will be placed on a desk in front of our actor alongside many other elements that you would expect to see in a classroom to give it a believable feel making it that bit more immersive. Another way that we plan for the iMac to help us is in lighting the scene. The section that iMac will be most prominent in is planned to be dark and if we use a bright screen in front of the actor it will give a nice key light look on the actors face that is also believable in the dark situation.

All of these props listed below will be used in the performance section of our video to hopefully make the band look believable and real.
