The performance section of our video was something that we had to shoot right in order to get the professional look that we wanted. We made it a lot easier for our selfs with a lot of prior planning so that we could just get there and shoot. We shot in the schools drama studio as it was perfect for what we wanted. It needed to be a big room with lots of potential for artificial lighting and it fit the bill perfectly.
The shoot was overall a success as we got all the footage that we had planned for and more. In the end it took a lot longer than we had anticipated to set up the scene and to shoot but it worked out in the end and the cast and crew were all happy. Even though it took us 4 hours to shoot we all had fun while doing it which is something that we think makes the whole performance better. The happier your actors and crew are.. the better they will perform.
